How To Interpret Alignment Results

An alignment printout provides detailed measurements of your vehicle’s wheel alignment both before and after the service.

Camber: The camber measures the vertical tilt of the wheels . Positive camber means the top of the wheel leans outward, and negative camber means it leans inward.

Caster: The caster angle refers to the tilt of the steering axis when viewed from the side. Positive caster is when the steering axis tilts backwards, while negative caster tilts forwards.

Toe: The toe describes the direction the tires point relative to each other (either inward or outward). Toe-in means the front of the tire points inwards, while toe-out means the tire points outwards.

Thrust Angle: The thrust angle measures how aligned the rear axle is with the front wheels, particularly important for vehicles with a solid rear axle. If the thrust angle is out of spec, the vehicle may pull to one side.

Tire Pressure (PSI): Proper tire pressure is crucial for handling, safety, and tire wear. If the PSI is too high or too low, it can affect alignment results, tire wear, and fuel efficiency.
